Create an OpenEdit Website

To create an OpenEdit Website, you have two options:

  1. Download and Install OpenEdit for free. This requires knowledge of installation and configuration of java based web applications. For more information see OpenEdit's installation instructions.
  2. Buy OpenEdit and enjoy the benefits of working with a team of web professionals who will focus on creating and managing a web site tailored to meet your needs.

Documentation Overview

OpenEdit's documentation is broken into four parts.

  1. Installation - Instructions on installing OpenEdit.
  2. Setup OpenEdit - Information for the setup and maintenance of OpenEdit.
  3. Editing Tools - An overview of all the editing tools within the Administrative Toolbar and Inline Editing Toolbar.
  4. Plug Ins - On overview of the various plug ins for OpenEdit. These include blog, ecommerce, applications, search, etc.
